Welcome!

Thank you for visiting our class website.  I am excited about this school year and I expect nothing but the best from each one of my students.  My goal is to creatively instill the knowledge of life science in you to help you reach your greatest potential. My intent is to not only teach life science to you, but also, illustrate how fun and exciting science can be. Over the course of the school year, I plan to give you a remarkable learning experience that will prepare you for your academic future.  As a class, we will explore life science by participating in a variety of learning activities that require us to utilize the habits of mind and the nature of science. The units of study include: the characteristics of science; diversity of living organisms; structure and function of cells; tissues, organs, and organ systems; biological traits; interdependence of organisms and their environments; inherited traits and evolutionary survival of organisms.
